How To Install Glass Tile
Step 1: Clean the walls
Make sure the wall is clean, dry and dust-free before starting your project.
Step 2: Measure the area
Using a chalk line or level, create at least one vertical and one horizontal reference line to guide tile placement.
Step 3: Cut the tile
If there is a need to cut tiles to fit corners or outlet
- Use a utility knife and ruler to cut along with the gap between tiles.
- Use a glass cutter to make a crack in the tile surface and then break it off with glass pliers.
- A wet saw can easily cut through the glass tiles without dust after filling them with water. It is ideal for wearing rubber gloves and eye goggles.
Step 4: Peel and stick
Remove the film backing from both sides of the tile. Lightly place the tile onto the wall using your reference lines and then line up. Do not apply pressure to the tile until you are sure of your placement.
Tips: You can use white caulk, glass glue, Flex Seal, or silicone sealant to fill the gaps between tiles, and wipe the surface residue with a rag.
